Barra it is the biggest fishing center of the island, and it is posible to practice surf. There are a lot of bars and restaurants at the beach. Most of the touristic attractives are concentrated on this part of the island (east beaches). On the high season (december to march), the beach is crowded and the temperatures varies from 25 to 30º Celsius, sunny and warm.
